James "Shea" Gentry earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. He then attended law school at Florida State University where he graduated with honors (Cum Laude). During law school, Shea was accepted into a prestigious legal program whereby he was able to attend class in Salzburg, Austria, in a program taught by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Shea devotes 100 percent of his practice to civil litigation in both first-and-third-party claims, representing those injured by the negligence of others or those injured by the unreasonable or bad faith insurance tactics of their own insurance company. Shea spent the better half of two decades defending insurance companies and now brings that experience to represent his clients with our Orlando personal injury law firm.

When not at work, Shea spends most of his free time with his wife and his young daughter. They enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Mr. Gentry believes in giving back to the community that has provided him with many opportunities and therefore likes to volunteer for worthwhile causes that have a positive impact in the greater area of Central Florida.
