Are You Ready for Biketoberfest 2017?

It’s that time of year again to start preparing for Biketoberfest. Whether it’s your first time or an annual must-do, this event has plenty of fun and excitement to offer. With approximately 125,000 bikers in attendance annually, you are sure to run into old friends and make some new ones!

Exciting Activities

Biketoberfest is catered to venues and activities that bikers enjoy, so make sure you learn about the weekend in advance you don’t miss out! If your schedule allows it, come up early or extend your trip so you can savor all that Daytona Beach has to offer.

Take Scenic Rides with Other Bikers

One thing all attendees have in common is their passion and enthusiasm for motorcycles. So, there’s no better activity than doing what you love most — taking a ride! The highlight ride takes place on the “Loop” or Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail. This 12-mile ride offers a scenic route on highways running through Volusia County. You can also take a ride through Tomoka State Park and DeLeon Springs State Park, along Beach Street and Main Street, and to the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse.

Main Street Food & Entertainment

This well-known street will be a highlight of the event during the day and night. It is lined with a variety of vendors selling the latest and most stylish biking gear. When you get hungry, stop by one of the famous restaurant options like Full Moon Saloon where you can eat delicious barbecue and listen to live rock and country music on two different stages! At Dirty Harry’s, the original bar on Main Street, a DJ will keep the outdoor party going as you participate in contests. At night, entertainment includes live rock band performances, and Froggy’s Saloon has it all. Open early, you can peruse motorcycle displays as you enjoy free samples of Jack Daniels and Twisted Tea, purchase souvenirs and enter contests. Don’t forget to pick up a commemorative souvenir from one of the many Main Street shops before you leave to remember the experience.

Daytona International Speedway

Come early as motorcycles take over the speedway for the weekend. Here, you will be able to enjoy live entertainment and participate in motorcycle races. High-end brand motorcycles such as Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Indian, Suzuki and Victory will be available for free demonstration rides.

Pick Up a Free Tow Card

Before you make your trip to Biketoberfest, stop by 911 Biker Law or request a Free Tow Card online in case you get in an accident or your bike breaks down on the highway. Motorcycle attorney Michael B. Brehne understands the danger that stopping on the side of a major highway can pose for bikers. Our Free Tow Card is good for up to 10 miles toward the closest mechanic. Contact our office if you have any questions.
