Harley-Davidson Inc. has issued a recall for 14 different models of motorcycles due to a potential issue with the clutch. This recall affects more than 27,000 motorcycles from the model-year 2016 and includes both cruiser and touring models.

A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was seriously injured when his Harley-Davidson motorcycle began, what is termed, a "death wobble." The investigation is centering around a potential manufacturer's defect from the motorcycle itself and not rider error. This is not a lone incident. Rather, the death wobble has been reported many times to Harley-Davidson and is being considered by most to be a defect in the design and or production of certain models in the Harley line.
