What To Expect On The Day Of The Parade & Festival

The day of the 5th annual Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival — September 18 — is fast approaching, and this is bound to be a celebration you won't want to miss! The 5th Anniversary Celebration of the Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival will be dedicated to the Municipalities of Cabo Rojo and Moca, Puerto Rico. The parade's theme this year is "First Responders and Essential Workers" and will honor the bravery of frontline workers after the unprecedented hardships of 2020.

The festivities will kick off on Saturday at 11:00 am as parade members begin marching, starting on Orange Avenue and Concord Street. Come watch beautiful parade floats and comparsas displaying rich Puerto Rican culture and folklore. Some expected parade participants include City, County, federal, and state elected officials, community organizations, dignitaries, and special guests within the healthcare field.

Following the morning's lively parade, the festival's scheduled to begin Saturday at 3:00 pm and run all day until 11:00 pm. The following are just a few of the awesome things you can expect to find at the festival.
