John Mina For Orange County Sheriff

In the race for Orange County Sheriff, candidate John Mina garners strong support from local constituents at a meet-and-greet event held in the Roth Family JCC of Greater Orlando in Maitland, FL, on Thursday, August 30, 2018. The event proved successful for John, as he connected with crowds and discussed several key point topics of his campaign, including gun and school safety, juvenile offender alternative programs, upgrades to Sheriff’s office technology, and increasing community involvement and outreach initiatives.

Having spent 27 years as a law enforcement officer and 4 years as chief of police with the Orlando Police Department — the largest municipal agency in Orange County — John’s lifework is centralized in ensuring the safety of visitors and residents to Orange County, FL. Prior to his career in law enforcement, John served as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. Once in law enforcement, John graduated from street patrol duties to detective, until he was named chief of police in 2014. With decades of multi-specialty experience in protection, safety, and regulatory services, John has also led the charge in innovative police training, created an LGBTQ police liaison, and reduced crime in Orange County by six percent.

The Law Offices of Michael B. Brehne, P.A. extend full support to John Mina for Orange County Sheriff and thank him for his continual dedication to improving the lives of every Orange County resident.
