One of the greatest perks of owning a motorcycle is being able to join thousands of fellow bikers for a rally, ride or festival in celebration of your love for the open road. Autumn is a great time for bikers, especially those in Central Florida, as there are tons of opportunities to get you revved up.

Hogtoberfest Concert featuring Eddie Money

This is a must-attend event if you love motorcycles and music. Roll up to the Orlando Harley-Davidson Historic Factory Dealership on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 (noon-9 p.m.), for food, drink and a free live performance by Eddie Money. Plus, you could win a 2015 Street Glide or a VIP experience for 4 at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort. Proceeds from the event, as well as the charity raffle, benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

19th Annual Leesburg Bikefest

Each year, the city of Leesburg is taken over by bikers for the annual Leesburg Bikefest. Considered one of the most popular bike rallies in the United States with over 300,000 attendees annually, this three-day festival of motorcycles and live music will feature 40 concerts on eight stages, stunt shows, poker runs and the crowning of Ms. Bikefest.

American International Motorcycle Expo

The AIMExpo (Oct. 17-19 at Orange County Convention Center) is motorcycling’s first combined trade, consumer and media exposition produced by motorcyclists for motorcyclists. Showcasing the entire industry, from the motorcycling lifestyle to the business of motorcycling, this event is perfect for all open road enthusiasts.

Roscoes 29th Annual Chili Challenge

Florida’s number one old school biker party, Roscoes Chili Challenge (Nov. 7-9, Lakeland), is world famous for its music, stage show, contests and, most importantly, $2000 purse chili cook-off. Started in 1986, this adults-only rally features free camping, bike games and a bike show along with its “Art of Pole Dancing”competition.

Second Annual Vintage Revival Rally

The past meets the present when Cafe Moto and Ace Cafe North America present the second annual vintage motorcycle and scooter show (Dec. 6, Orlando). Featuring hundreds of rare and vintage motorcycles and scooters, the rally is free and open to the public. However, there is a $20 entry fee if you want your ride considered in the contest. There are also raffles, live music and a pin-up contest with proceeds benefiting the K9s for Warriors Foundation.
